Unfortunately there are many computer viruses that can affect anyone’s computer. Anti-virus companies are noticing a major jump in the purchases of their software.
There are SO many computer viruses: Zotob, Mytob, Netsky, Sober, Gibe, and Mydoom to name a few. The most reported computer virus is Netsky. Sadly, more than 90% of computer viruses are undetected! There are about 60,000 different viruses out there at this point.
A well known virus is called The Sassar Worm, which cost about $500 million worldwide. That is devastating.
Some good news is that some virus creating people are being arrested so the virus cannot be a harm to any more computers.
